We bought 3 of these in the last month, and probably have taken them out a dozen times or more to local lakes. They are lightweight enough the kids and I can easily get them in and out of the truck bed. The only thing I am disappointed in, is two of the orange bungees on different kayaks have come out, and not quite sure how to fix, but for the price, I would still recommend. As far as tracking, I am sure a longer kayak would be better, but for overall price and transportation (they fit great tied down in my F250 bed with tailgate down, no hanging over) these are great for us. I have arthritis and have really enjoyed this for exercise. My son actually fell asleep in his for an hour and a half while I pulled his kayak behind mine, so I guess you could say the seat is comfortable : )...

This boat has fair stability and many nice features. It does not track that well though.

It has good stability, the wheel in keel is super helpful. I love the storage space and it cuts through the water pretty well. I don't have anything negative to say about it. It's worth the money however I am missing a piece to mine in the rod holder part. I have been looking for it and can't find the piece that wasn't there when I bought it. Typically I imagine they come with all the pieces but everything on the kayak is simple to replace if damaged, broken, etc. This is my 2nd lifetime kayak this was an upgrade and was really worth it + good quality. It's not hard to move by yourself the wheel helps alot. If someone is whinning about weight or handling it they're just from a weak bloodline and probably can't paddle anyway.

I was looking for an affordable entry level kayak for a local river by my house. I went with a sit on top style so I could try to bring my dog along with me. This kayak has been great. It is very stable compared to the sit in style kayaks. One thing I didn't realize it had, was holes in the bottom for self bailing. This is a nice added bonus for me. There is a cup folder between your legs that fits a typical sized water bottle and the back of the kayak has plenty of room for storage. No sealed compartments, but that is not a huge deal. I just put a large seal-able container in the storage area on the back.

Recently purchased this kayak for simply paddling around lakes and rivers. I've gone out on choppy days and it handled just fine. It runs straight and is easy to turn.
I bought this model because I wanted a very lightweight kayak I could load up myself (I'm 5'5 and not the strongest upper body wise- getting it on the roof rack was easy peasy). It has also been fairly easy to carry down steeper river banks.
It does have nice storage space, but if don't bring a dry box/bag, things will get wet.

We bought this kayak for our daughter- it is lightweight and she can manage getting in on and off the car on her own. She was able to handle the Merrimack River whiteout any difficulty and traversed 1-2 miles up stream. se did not feel cramped and had enough space to stick her little sister in front of her too.

I bought this for fishing and sightseeing. I have always had a hard time finding a kayak that was comfortable for my aching 60 year old body. This one is amazingly comfortable! Yesterday I spent about 2 hours in it and I was feeling really good at the end. The only issue I have is, the fishing pole holders are designed so the pole is tilted toward the back away from you and out of easy reach. I just drilled out the rivets in one, turned it around and re riveted it so it leans more toward the front and is within easy to reach. I don't really know how you would be able to reach it otherwise. Maybe younger people are more flexible... Other than that, it's a great kayak. Very stable and comfortable.
