Here's the nitty gritty...
First, I really like this kayak and would buy it again. I did a lot of research before making this purchase and am not disappointed; however, there are a couple things I would improve upon...
Pros: Comfortable, lightweight, easy to transport, stable in the water, tracks well, all around good for a curvy girl like me... Lots of storage - not necessarily dry...
Cons: Back storage area takes on water with wakes from other boats (motorized) / small waves, so don't store anything in there that is not in a waterproof container/bag. That also brings me to the point of why the heck did they put a removable storage compartment back there that is made of material which absorbs water like crazy... I would have paid top dollar for something more water resistant - like a molded plastic compartment that has SEALS. I don't take this kayak out with the fabric compartment in place - it's just asking to get wet and subsequently moldy. Also, the front compartment doesn't seal either, the lid is just secured on by the deck rigging. One last con, the foot pegs do not move and are not adjustable. there are a few different permanent options at different lengths, so moving in between them while out paddling is easy; however, if they are not just right for you initially, they never will be. Plus, when using the pegs, there isn't much room for your feet due to the curve of the kayak. I highly recommend you go to a store that stocks this kayak and sitting in it before you purchase it (I did, and it saved me from purchasing another brand).

I havent had this kayak long. My son loaned it to a lineman from high school and it came back with a broken chair! After talking with a rep he sent me a new one asap.
