Journey SS 10 Sit-On-Top Fishing Kayak

I have taken the kayak out several times and have enjoyed where it can take me.

I bought this few days ago. I've been looking for a kayak with removable high back mesh chair, not a molded in chair. Cannot find on a recreational kayak under $600. But this one has it! High back, comfortable, adjustable, removable, breathable mesh. I am using a lifevest with mesh over lower back, fits great in this kayak.
Has dry storage, easy to open and lock securely, large opening, things don't get lost.
Very light for one person to carry, including the chair and all the gear I need.
Fits inside a Honda Pilot without removing kids seats.
Fully accessorized: 2 rod holders, 2 track systems, bungee cords.
Knee pads, great for comfort.
Easily adjustable foot rests, not molded in.
Large cockpit: so spacious. My knees do not even touch the rim of the cockpit, I'm at 5'11\" and 200 lb.
Molded in paddle rest in the front, also paddle holder with bungee on the side, easy to access, very secure as has 2 hoops to secure the bungee instead of 1.
Has build in foam on the two side of the chair for better floating.
Ergonomic, east to reach, comfortable carrying handles.
Very impressed with the quality and all the features. I do not see myself to need to add on accessories, as everything I need for recreation paddling is already installed.
For the price of $399, I consider this was a great steal !
Cannot wait to take it on the water.

If your looking for the biggest/best bang for tour buck, than this is it! It might be 13 foot long, but I have ridden in dozens of boats and the common knowledge is true that bigger is better, meaning more stable. I have searched high and low for a multi use boat; fishing, family and ocean fun, and the price for this guy that can hold 3 people @ 550 lbs, you just can't find it. Going out fishing solo in the Tampa bay chop and shark infested waters, I have no reservations what so ever. Super stable, roomy as you can get, plenty of area for bolt on accessories, you would not be disappointed. They were completely out of stock and on backorder for 6 weeks everywhere in my area, so I traveled 100 miles to the next available store to get it, and it was worth it! If your looking into this boat, you won't be disappointed. Hope this review helps.

Bought 4 of these for the family. Absolutely great value. Easy to get in and out of, stable and tracks well. Would buy them again without hesitation. Have only used them on a lake and creek in calm conditions but they’ve performed well. Considered buying a smaller kayak for my 7yo but he is able to handle this 10ft with ease after a couple trips

Got this kayak a few months ago and am very pleased with everything about it. Great stability and tracks well for a 10' yak you just can't beat the price for a sit on top yak and there seat is very comfy!!!

My son & I are new to kayaking, and we researched a lot of them, found this to be a great one for first time users. We love them. Not too terribly heavy, easy to maneuver. and they come in super fun colors!

I have had sit on top kayaks I had the scrambler and the frenzy from ocean kayak, I would have problems with my back with those kayaks, I have no problems with my back when I sit in this kayak, the mustang is faster than the 12' sit on top kayak that I had and is comfortable which is the most important thing for me. on top of that you have the rod holders and the storage compartments

I recently purchased this kayak after already owning another sit-in fishing kayak. Must say I am pleasantly surprised. Much better tracking and over all maneuverability. The look over all is aesthetically pleasing and I enjoy the the padding arround where my shins would hit. All in all I am pleased

I bought this in August, sales help was excellent, even loaded into our truck. Works well. Drain plug a little stiff but everything else great, good price
