We purchased two of these. They were both loaded with plastic shavings, and it was a huge pain to remove them before hitting the water. We're conscious of our impact on the places we visit, so we were unable to use them until we were sure we were not going to leave a trail of plastic bits everywhere we took them. This manufacturer needs to do a little bit more to make sure their products are more environmentally responsible.

I bought this kayak during the big boat sale, and overall very happy with it. I love the pink color, and it feels very stable. It has great storage capacity and nice that i can take my fishing pole out on it. Only concerns is that its easy to dent it if you strap it real tight on a j bar rooftop carrier, and I wish the pelican slogan on the side wasnt a sticker, its easily ripped, mine already ripped up after only 2 uses. Wish I could replace the sticker. For the price of it though, I can’t complain.

Had two full summers now and couldn't be happier with this 'yak. Glides effortlessly through the water as it tracks a straight course. Family and friends who have tried it are amazed at how easy it is to paddle and turn on a dime. I am a big guy at 6' and 260 lbs, no trouble getting in or out.
I have added: Ocean Kayak Comfort Plus seat, Safety flag and pole, Scotty fishing holder, compass, Perimeter deck lines, Paddle float , anchor trolley, and anchor.
Really functions well as boat a fishing kayak and a recreational paddling for fun and exercise kayak.

I bought this kayak for use in the Indian river in Florida, and could not be happier! Very stable, easy to load/unload, and SO freakin much fun! You won't go wrong with this coice for a recreational kayak

This is an excellent value for someone just getting into kayaking. The seat is probably the most comfortable that you can find in this price point.
