Old Town Canoe Sportsman 106 Kayak

I've bought last year Bandit 100- the precious generation of NXT 100, do not see any difference besides the seat (the back rest is the same they just added a cushin or whatever it si called). That was my first kayak, I am 280pounds, 6'2'' high and i never flipped over, handle me pretty well. Extremly stable, great for beginners, very light, easy to transport. It is not very fast and if U paddle against wind over 5mph is becoming exstremly hard to go straight. Also keep in mind that there is always a little bit of water inside (maybe because of my weight, but no matter if U have plugs in the scapper wholes or not there is always some water inside), if U are puddling in warm wheater is fine. I bought it for 150$ on sale, so overall for that price it is a good begginers kayak, strong material,very stable. I would reccomend it for the price!

My wife and I have enjoyed kayaking together. I am a fisherman and thought that the fishing rod holder would be a nice idea, but the rod is behind me and is awkward to use it. The internet site for this kayak says that there are about eighteen foot rest positions. I called the store and the employee checked an actual model and verified there are only four positions as I found. Manufacturer needs to update literature.

I bought this 6 months ago and did lots of kayaking during the summer. I absolutely love it. Very very very stable. Very practical and has a reasonable amount of storage.

Bought this for my wife and she is very happy with it. Very comfortable and priced reasonably. I woud recommend this to anyone looking for a kayak.

I bought a kayak and it was coming with a rod holder. When the rod holder didn't come they quickly sent one out. Much appreciated!

Nice lightweight kayak....easy to carry/launch even for a 60+ year old. Tracks decently even in wind. Enjoying it immensely.

I've only had one outing in the Mustang thus far but wanted to share my initial impressions. I'm focused mainly on freshwater fishing (lakes/ponds) and believe that out of the box this ship has all you need to get started. I've added some additional mounts and other accessories, but overall, I'm very happy with this as a platform that I can build upon with time and more experience. Can't speak to durability since I'm still getting acclimated to it...but all things considered, I'm happy. Find me using it on twitch(dot)tv/yaboyee !

I bought this a month ago and have used 2 times. Nice Kayak. I will be using for cruising and fishing coastal and fresh waters. Only issue I had was the Ergo Coast set hinge was cracked. I filled about a warranty claim and Pelican sent me a new one immediately. Top notch customer service.
However, Dicks manager said he would try
to get the issue resolved, said he would call me in a day or two. Never heard from him and it’s been 3 weeks!! So I handled it myself.
