Pelican Bandit NXT 100 Kayak

Really like the insulated storage well. Not a lot of storage space other than that though.

Purchased for my son two weeks ago. He loves it. Always wants to go kayaking now.

We bought two Pelicans from Dicks a month ago. My wife uses this one and couldn’t be happier. Fits her small frame perfectly. Is fast and tracks nicely.
Using for both inland coastal and fresh waters.

I bought this for my Teenage daughters.. They love the stability and the size.. They can jump off and on easily. Big enough for a 3rd seat without being cramped. Little on the heavy side to carry, but once in the water. It is easy to handle.

Great kayak to start with. East to get in and out of. Comfortable seat. Plenty of leg room.

So I’ve had my kayak for about a month now, have brought it out probably 6 times and I absolutely love it! They say you can stand on it but I’m not that well balanced. But otherwise, it is so sturdy. It’s comfortable and moves really well in the water. I thought I would be slow and get left behind but I seem to always be the one in the front. I can handle carrying it around myself and loading it in my truck. It’s such a great purchase and you won’t be upset you bought it!

I am a 5'7\" long, legged, 140 lb., lady. I have recently used 4 different Kayaks and I really like the Pelican Trailblazer 100 NXT. It is comfortable, tracks well on the river and has many convenient features of the bottle holder, varied foot rest spots, and net under the front to hold cell phone or other small items. I recommend the Pelican Trailblazer 100 NXT for beginners with a destination in mind. Purchasing another.

The Trailblazer was exactly what I was looking for - a no hassle kayak for recreational paddling that doesn't break the bank. It tracks well, has plenty of storage and is super light - I can carry it with one hand and it's easy for one person to car top it. The dual arch hull likely costs a little speed, but it adds a lot of stability and allows you to lay the Kayak flat on a standard roof rack. The cockpit is roomy, so easy in and out. Plenty of foot stops to fit a wide range of heights and the drain plug is also a nice feature.

Not intended for rough water, but if you're looking for a well thought out Kayak designed to get you easily to in and out of the water on a nice day I'd take a look at this one.

My husband and I had been talking about purchasing fishing kayaks for several years, but we had been unable to find them locally at a reasonable price. A friend pointed us to DSG, where she purchased hers, and we found these! Due to limited stock and delays in re-stocking, our local store only had the tan/grey in stock, and we purchased 2 of them (I would have preferred a bright color). We've had them for about a month, and we've already taken them out on the water 3 times. They're lightweight and easy to load/carry; they fit nicely into the short bed of our Silverado. They track decently well, especially considering they are only 10 feet long. The seat included is very comfortable. A smaller cooler fits well on the stern. We have yet to purchase any accessories, but we love the tracks on the sides for future additions.
