Front string already broke but best kayak for the price.

This kayak is great, wonderful tracking and very comfortable for long trips. We bought two. Our complaint is that there are plastic shavings from manufacturing all inside the craft. We tried to vacuum them out as much as possible but I'm sure they were flying out the boat while driving. We live near many delicate waterways in Michigan so this was a big red flag. Also, both of the plastic drain plugs fell out in transit as well (more plastic waste floating around) so now the holes are just open. Something Pelican needs to look at.

How can I get a replacement seat for this kayak? Kayak flipped and seat disconnect and went to bottom of lake. Unable to retrieve it.

so, i wanted to be able to more than shore fish so i went to check out kayak and for the prices had everything i needed. First off tracks very nice, the rod holders are nice and not worried if they're going to fall out. overall i would recommend it

I bought this kayak and took it to Florida. I used it at the beach and it was very stable on choppy water/small waves. It was easy to paddle and steer. I like the orange color of mine because it makes it more visible to faster boats in the area. My son fished from the kayak one day and said it was stable.

This is my 2nd kayak, 1st one was an 8ft pelican pursuit 80x, it quickly discovered it was too small, I’m 6’0” 200lbs and the pelican mustang 100x was a perfect fit, after hours of research and watching YouTube videos of reviews I found it on sale at Dick’s Sporting Goods on sale for $299, I was really pleased with the amount of room this kayak had inside and out, tracks straight and glides through the water, very stable, I love that it has the rod holders, that was one of the main things I was looking for, the Ecopod is definitely not waterproof which was disappointing, but it was fine, I just put everything I needed inside the hull with me for easy access, it’s super lightweight and easy to strap on my rooftop j-hook mounts for transport, I would definitely recommend this kayak for anyone looking to get started!!!

This kayak is perfect for the lakes near me. Weighing less than 40 pounds makes it easy for me to carry a me load on my car. My only wish is that it had better carry straps.
