Sun Dolphin Bali 10 SS Kayak

I bought this kayak about a month ago. I am a beginner and this is a perfect kayak for me. I feel like I can maneuver well and it’s light enough for me to carry. The seat is awesome! The only thing I would change is to add a cup holder, but I have added one myself.

My husband bought this a while back and has replaced the seat and outfitted it with rod holders. He loves how it handles and tracks. He has since bought a more expensive yak but still goes back to this one when we are going for a quick trip on the lake or river. Nice kayak for the money. We recently put my mom in that had never been in a kayak and she had the hang of it within minutes.

I knew when I bought a tandem kayak that it was going to be big, but this baby is HUGE! I mean that in a good way - it’s large enough for comfort and very stable. Great craftsmanship and the color is gorgeous! Shipping was NOT cheap but they did an excellent job delivering the kayak in one piece.

Bought this for my birthday after much discussion about what my needs are (minimal), already have an SUP and wanted something more leisurely to take around the marina where our boat is. This fits the bill perfectly! Easy to get in and out of off the swim deck, tracks well enough and is really quite comfortable for an hour or so on the water. Simple adjustable seat is fine, could add a cushion if desired for more padding but really not necessary. Don’t think I would take it out on the bay but for calm marina waters it’s just what I wanted. Do plan to get a waterproof bag for a trip on the Russian River we’re planning. BTW I’m 5’8” for reference. May have to get another one of these for family and guests!

I am a first time kayak owner and wanted a sit-in model for fishing. My wife got me this as a gift knowing I had researched it a lot. I am overall very happy with it but do I have one or two warnings. I am 6'2\" and 230ish, i comfortably fit in the seat but had to make a riser under the back bar to help my lower back. The seat base is a little tilted back which after long hours will cause pain in lower back and back of your legs. And the storage strings are not well secured so be careful giving them to much of a tug. Otherwise it rides great, tracks well. A little tippy if you push your limits but I have comfortably fished many hours now without tipping.

Very flat bottom allows ability to go into very shallow waters. Sturdy hard plastic, comfortable seat and perhaps the most important feature, very very light in weight! We bought two, since it is better to go with someone else.

BOUGHT A MONTH AGO AND WOULD SAY IM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. IT HAS ADJUSTABLE FOOT REST'S, A COMFORTABLE SEAT, AN ARE TO HOLD DRINKS AND YOUR PHONE.

I love the product itself. Was not too happy with the establishment itself. I ordered the product online and had it shipped to the store. I picked up the kayak and one of the employees carried it to my truck. Two days later I took the kayak out and noticed the drain plug was missing. I went into the store and had multiple employees tell me the plug is not needed. I told them that is not the point, it was supposed to come with the plug. They finally offered to go steal one off another kayak in the store. I said that’s not ok because they would end up selling the kayak missing the plug to someone else. They were very flippant and shrugged their shoulders. I sat there waiting for 20 min for the employee to bring out a suitable plug. After I saw him come back to where I was waiting and look at me blankly twice I decided to leave. Not happy with the treatment of the issue, but I love the kayak.

Good kayak for the pnw. Holds up well in rough water. Happy with my purchase.
