We purchased 2 of these for general recreational use by my family. Both kids and adults found the kayaks comfortable, stable, and easy to use. Our large dogs were able to ride along comfortably as well. Tons of storage and great features! I can't wait to take it fishing and put the accessory track to use. I had only 2 concerns - first, they are a little on the heavy side for a kayak....the wheel on one end is a brilliant touch to help with that, but it obviously isn't very effective on some surfaces. The only other concern I had is that one of the 2 had a dangerously sharp metal point on it. There is an ID plate screwed on to it and it appears that whoever assembled it broke the screw off, leaving a jagged, sharp metal edge poking out. I covered it with tape to prevent injury on our first outing, and will have to find a way to remove it or grind it down. Overall though, fantastic if you don't mind a kayak that is on the heavier side.

Used this many times in the weeks since my purchase. Had several kayaking newbies , including an eight year old, use it. Love it! Only downfall is getting water out when done.

It has lots of storage areas and the seat is comfortable.

I have traditionally had a very old Wilderness Systems, which I love and got one of these as a secondary boat. This has now become my main use boat,as it can take a bit of a beating. It tracks very well (rivers and lakes) and glides through the water with some relative speed. The boat is Average weight, I'd appreciate a few pounds less as I am a 46 year old female lifting onto my roof rack....but doable. Nice storage options and decent seat. I'm 5'6\", yet I know a male of 6'2\" who also paddles one. Got it on sale at Dick's during their annual boat sale the end of May....great bang for the buck, particularly on sale

I bought this kayak on sale at the end of this season. I also have a sit in kayak, but liked my wife's sit on top type more, especially here on Lake Erie. This one is an excellent value for the money. Well made, longer than some in its price range, and it tracks better than others in this price range. I will know more next season, but for now I am very satisfied with it for kayaking close to home. A couple hours would be appropriate. Does well in choppy waters.

I just got this last week and have already had it out on the river for a few hours. Have owned much more expensive kayaks with similar features and I like this one better! Seat is comfortable, kayak is well made (in USA) and has lots of nice little convenience factors like rod holders and bungees for holding things.

For a first time kayaker, this is a great deal. Bought two for my wife and I and only spent $535 after tax. They look great and exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort. I've seen much more expensive kayaks with less storage and less accessories (carrying handles, fishing rod holders, etc.), so, at the current price of $250, I couldn't imagine finding a better deal on a good kayak.
