This is the slowest and hardest dragging kayaks I've been in. If your a river angler like me be ready for a work out. the rod holders are at a great angle so that the rods don't get stuck on over hang when fishing awkward areas with low over hanging trees. The seat is alright for a few hour trip especially if you take a land break. The price and lack of accessories is actually really awesome because you can customize it with an anchor trolley system, add a cleat or two, a kayak create system, paddle holder and a front rod holder or two. There are tons of YouTube reviews and customization videos as well as cheap how DIY customizations that keep the price down. Some have said that the turning on this is hard, I've found that it is really easy in still water and some current. They included tackle box is just \"okay\" but the bungee cord is great to clip on and store my phone with. The carry handles are comfortable, sturdy and tough which is great when securing for transport. The foot rail can be dangerous and hard to adjust especially if the foot pad is completely collapsed (all the way towards user) I ripped my thumb nail off in the store trying to adjust after a kid or someone collapsed it all the way. I'm 5' 11\" and just under 200lbs the leg room is fine I think you'd be fine up to 6' 2\" and probably more the foot room can be an issue though. The cup holder is okay for a what you pay. Id recommend for a budget fishing kayak if your handy this can be a fish killer. If your paddling over a mile this will be a arm killer.

Seems hard to beat for the sale price. Was just looking for something that floats so I can go rip some lips in areas previously unknown. This boat gets the job done. Relatively comfortable, but not awesome. Probably have to bust out a near a grand for the lazyboy level comfort, but when did you ever here someone say \"wow that's a comfy kayak. For a young lad such as myself it gets the job done and I've been ripping serious lips. Would buy again. NOT TO MENTION LIFETIME WARRANTY THAT MORE EXPENSIVE BOATS DO NOT OFFER

So I'm a big guy at 6' 2\" 275 lbs, have had a Potomac 10' for almost 10 years and I haven't been kayaking much in the last 6 years (Life happens). When several weekends back I did decide to go out with a group of friends, I found the Potomac to be quite uncomfortable and restricting to say the least. Didn't help that I put on 45 pounds since the last time I went out but that being said the Potomac is a true beginners Kayak that I should have upgraded from a long time ago. I found the Pelican Mustang 120x had all the features I was looking for in regards to stability, tracking, and most importantly, Weight capacity! I took it out for a 3 hour river float this past weekend and boy it didn't disappoint in the slightest; tracked beautifully, ever so stable, and extremely comfortable for it's price point. The back rest could be a little more robust but I'm sure I'll find a nice aftermarket replacement to make up for it. All in all, a great deal for $299.99 and I couldn't be happier.

We have 6 of these kayaks in our sail & paddle club, great value for the price, tracks nice, holds up well for group use. Higher weight capacity than most.

I absolutely love this Kayak, the seat that comes with it is extraordinary and causes no pain to my low back while on the river. So very happy with my purchase.

I bought this a month ago and have got to take it out a few times so far. It’s very comfortable, I was in it for four hours fishing, and didn’t have a problem.
