This kayak has been great for my uses. I would give it five stars but it’s a little low on storage compared to what some pictures may show. Some show extra storage netting in the inside of the kayak that didn’t come with mine and the front storage is just the bungee cord. With that said it fits my needs perfectly as a recreational kayak to paddle the lake with or as a fishing kayak. It’s very stable and the seat is super comfy even after several hours of sitting and paddling. I’d recommend this kayak to anyone that wants a relatively inexpensive kayak to try for recreation or fishing. I’m very pleased with my purchase as I’ve used it at least 3 times a week for the past month with no issues.

I bought this kayak for my wife as an anniversary gift. She loves it. It’s durable, has many nice features such as a cup and phone holder, rubber padding strips for where your knees touch and a comfortable seat.

I have two of these Kayaks a Blue and a Red and Black. Not a fisher so I purchased this kayak for its stability, hard to tip this one over, love the storage areas, I have been on lots of rivers with theses kayaks, and they are just wonderful to navigate, I have not been able to locate a splash skirt for this model would be my only draw back about this kayak, other then that I am quite satisfied with this kayak.

I bought this a s a first kayak and mostly for use in rivers and while fishing. I was leery about getting a kayak that was tippy so I tried this one out based on the reviews and I am very glad I did. I took it out on the river and it tracked well and I had no sensations of being tippy at all. It is a very stable unit. My only complaints would be there is no dry storage, no cup holder (this is a pain), and it is a bit slow. I went fishing with a friend who's kayak was much faster than this one.
Overall I think it is a great purchase for the money. I would recommend this kayak to anyone who wants a great starter.

I bought two Pelican Mustang 100X Kayaks a few weeks ago and have already taken them out several times. The reviews I read on them are fairly accurate. They are great entry level kayaks with many features at the price points... storage, rod holders, and netting. They're light weight to store and transport on top of an SUV and as far as using them and tracking, for the most part they are really good for their size. The width does make them fairly stable for boarding and de-boarding.
