We bought one for my wife and then this one for me. Stabile, medium weight for handling, but really happy with the seat that is included. Not fast, but ideal for the water conditions we have been exploring.

Ok, so I haven’t even been out on the water with it yet. But I did my research on this yak. Live in a condo, and I keep my kayak in the workout room. So anything over 10ft is not getting through the hallway. I have back problems. So what I was looking for was a more stable kayak. That was not to heavy, upgraded seat from my old one, and the ability to stand in. See YouTube videos on this yak. At 10ft, and 57lbs it incredible how stable it is at this small size. I set up my fish finder, made a small seat modification that adds comfort. Plus let’s you fit 2 3700 series Plano boxes under the seat. And lastly I built a trolling motor bracket for a 36lb thrust Newport Vessels motor. Battery will be stored just behind my milk crate. This yak is rated at 375lbs I believe. Can’t wait to get her out!

We bought 2 of these and couldn't be more pleased! The seat makes all the difference in the world! I had picked out a different one for my mother's day gift and the first time using it my back hurt halfway through the trip. With these my back hasn't hurt at all! Spending a little bit more money was definitely worth it!!

I have kayaked on a daily basis for 10 years now and I have owned many boats and still do, but the Pelican Trailblazer 100 NXT Kayak is the one I reach for to go out on the water to enjoy a easy, enjoyable paddle. I would recommend this product to anyone. One of the best kayaks I ever owned and I will never part with.
