Lifetime Youth Wave Kayak with Paddle

I bought this kayak several months ago for fishing and to enjoy outings with my grandkids. it appears to be of very good quality and, with store discounts, was reasonably priced. It is stable on open water and easy to maneuver and control. The major downside is that at 46 lbs. it is difficult for me to lift up and lower from my car top as well as carry to and from the water without assistance. For my limitations and purposes, i.e. fishing and sharing with the grandkids, I think an inflatable unit would probably be more useful.

I ordered the Royal Fade Yellow/Blue color. I am so disappointed with the color of the one I just received. It is kelly green, with a little light green and a smidge of blue. NO YELLOW! The reason I ordered this color is because I wanted lots of yellow in my new kayak, like in the picture. I don't like the green at all. Have not had it in the water yet so I can't give more of a review, other than it took 4 weeks to get here, from my order date to the day it was to be delivered to my house. Will update this review at a later date.

This is an amazing bargain for a 12 foot kayak. 12 feet is the minimum length for best tracking and cruising. With this, for only a little more money than a shorter 9 or 10 foot kayak you get the comfort and performance of a 12 footer, plus the higher weight limit. Comfortable seat, easy to carry and load. The only thing that would make it better would be rigid handles, the string ones it has are pretty awkward. But even with that I would - and likely will - buy another one to have around as an extra for friends and family to use.

You can’t go wrong with this one. A massive value. First kayak and I know I made the right decision. Cup-holder could have had a better design, but it would be very “American” of me to fault Future Beach for something like that haha.
Purchase was easy and I got it for a great price. Staff was on point!

This one is not quite as fast as my 12 footer, but it works just fine. Feels stable and does not wobble too much. Super easy to get in and out of. Nice tie downs for ice chests, chairs, etc. Would purchase again.

I only had my Teton for a year and developed a hole in the front. This was never on a river, only lakes. I’m so disappointed in the quality of this kayak.

I bought this about a month ago and couldnt be happier. We have taken the pair we bought out a busy lake cove and they did great. Light and durable. We are taking them out on a floating creek this weekend and if they dont hold up, i may update the review, but i doubt i will need to!

My wife told me recently that there was nothing she wanted. A couple weeks later she said \"I want a kayak\" So I said we will get you one and we settled on this Pelican Mustang 100X. Her birthday is in a couple days, she will be 63 ... She loved the kayak so much, she insisted I get one too (I just turned 65). We recently went 6 plus miles upstream on the Santa Fe River and into the Ichetucknee River past all the houses and well into the park. We spent some time watching a family of otters and half a dozen or so manatees.
